New drone videos show clashes between police and protesters in Bangkok

Previously, I wrote on DroneJournalism.org about how journalists have deployed drones over the protests in Bankok, Thailand. Much of the aerial footage obtained from those drones showed the size and scope of the political demonstrations.

Now, aerial video has emerged which shows police and protestors clashing. It is perhaps the most dramatic aerial footage since a citizen journalist flew a small drone above protests in Istanbul.

The most recent news suggests that these kinds of clashes may be subsiding, however. CNN has reported that police are removing barriers, as the Thai government claims it has reached a truce with protestors.

Protest leaders say they will continue to protest until Yingluck Shinawatra, Thailand's Prime Minister, steps down from her post.
